Born on 14th April,in Mumbai,Shree,inherited the Music talent from his beloved Mother and Veteran Classical Singer-Musician,Mrs.SUMAN MANGESH ARAS.Shree started getting lessons of Indian Ragas,from the age of 7 years.Shree hadan ambition of becoming a Music Director,right from his childhood.
After graduation Shree took up a job,but the Music craze was not allowing him to work in office and finally quit the job and started struggling as a Music Director,after getting encouragement from the loving wife "Jaya'.
Shree appeared on TV in a musical show,on the launching day of doordarshan ie 2nd oct.1972,and thereafter did a lot of work for DoorDarshan programmes.
Friend in need is a friend indeed-Shree's close friend Mr.Shirish Vagal gave him a break to compose music for his children's album of 8 songs.From then Shree accelerated his music career and started making albums for all the well known music companies like Tips,Universal,Venus,Times Music,Prism,Time Audio,Red Cat,V-Track
and many other companies,and very soon completed more than 100 albums in Marathi,Hindi,Bengali, Gujarathi,Konkani English etc.
At the same time Shree was also composing music for the ztv in-house programmes. ZTV.
With superhit serial "Hum Paanch" of Balaji Telefilms,Shree got a big break in Hindi serial industry and scored music for many popular television programmes.
Due to his versatility,Shree even proved to be the best in the Remix world by making the super duper hit remix album "Khan Hits".
The next hit to his credit was the MTV song "Vinchu Chavla" which became very popular all over.
Shree also composed Music for the Hindi film " Mumbai Godfather" produced & Directed by veteran Director Mr.Deepak Balraj Vij. and "Andha Intequam",Directed by Mr.Swarupkumar.
Shree was in judge panel of the 100th episode of Hindi SA RE GA MA anchored by veteran singer Mr.Sonu Nigam.Further Shree was twice a judge for Marathi SA RE GA MA (ZTV) and Dum Duma Dum(Dance Contest)on Door Darshan.
In 2005 Shree entered in to the Marathi films Industry after getting a request from his friend producer Mr.Atul Soman,who shot his film in Canada.Then Shree continued his career in Marathi Films and composed music and background music for various films like Pailateer,Lapun Chhapun,Akshata Ashrunchya,Karayala Gelo Ek,Guilty,Orakhada,Manya Sajjana etc.
At present Shree is composing music for a Marathi Music channel "Sangeet Marathi".
